His Excellency Garvin Nicholas, High Commissioner for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and His Excellency Nyahuma Obika, High Commissioner for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to Abuja witnessed the signing of the African Trinidad and Tobago Steelpan Development Company Initiative on Saturday 12th May 2012 at Gatwick Airport, UK.
High Commissioner Garvin Nicholas left for Trinidad after the signing to attend the Caribbean Investment Week.
A reception for the signing was later held at the Trinidad and Tobago High Commission in London the following Monday. Ms Roanna Gopaul, Acting High Commissioner, hosted the delegation in High Commissioner Nicholas’ absence.
